In early August 2025 a rather odd document was hand delivered through our doors. (A copy can be downloaded below.) It refers to "Stalkers" in "Local Neighbourhood". So the first point to make is that the leaflet isn't about York Place and Windmill Close but is generic; other neighbourhoods across the UK have received the same or very similar leaflets over the last few years. So the claim that something is happening locally isn't supported by citing local evidence.

The three questions asked in the first two paragraphs are strange, and I think most of us will have no trouble answering them with a simple "no",

The remaining paragraphs allege large scale, coordinated harassment of targeted individuals by shadowy organised groups. Frankly to me this has a paranoid tone. We know that stalking and other crimes do take place, but widespread "illegal surveillance and harrassment of innocent people by multiple individuals working together" seems unlikely.

The flyer refers to two websites, both US based. Both sites can be reached and have content that most people would consider to be conspiracy theories.
